“EY Duine de Dhath History Month” is a campaign celebrating the power of language and culture to drive inclusion. By combining Adinkra (African) and Celtic (Irish) symbols, EY Ireland highlights Duine de Dhath, a modern Gaelic term meaning “person of color,” introduced into the Irish language in 2021 to address a historical absence of inclusive terminology for Black people.
Developed in Dublin in 2025, this project is a creative exploration expanding an existing campaign for EY Ireland.
